Artistic Curriculum

India Filipin, an artist born in União da Vitória, Paraná, started her artistic career in the plastic arts in 1971. Since then, she has been refining her work by means of research and studies in the field of modern art.

1971 -
Started a course in drawing and painting in Campinas - São Paulo - Brazil
1973 -
Returned to Curitiba, where she attended eclectic painting schools.
1980 -
Participated in the first collective exhibition and, months later, confirmed her first individual exhibition.
1987 -
Was invited to exhibit her work in Miami - USA.
1991 -
Started a new ideological phase - contemporary.
1997 - Attended a contemporary art seminar in Switzerland, led by Ernani Alvarez
1998 - Attended a course in Madrid with Pablo Ramirez, a highly prestigious abstractionist in Spain
2004 - Attended a course in Los Angeles named "The Best Abstraction", given by
Sebastian Crusairt, creator of the innovative idea of mixing aircraft paint.
